Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ali Cali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin Fighter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ali Cali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cali tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fighter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fighter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fighter dives in and grabs Cali's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cali pushes down on Fighter's head and hops out.
Cali uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fighter.
Fighter throws out a loose jab but Cali uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cali goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
An inside leg kick lands from Fighter.
Fighter shoots in but no luck this time.
Fighter leaves Cali with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cali takes the fight into the clinch.
Fighter jumps guard but Cali turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Ali Cali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Fighter.
Fighter is trying to break the clinch but Cali is controlling him.

Cali lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cali wants to control but Fighter is keeping him busy.

Cali is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Fighter is in a horrible position here. Cali smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Cali throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cali trying to control but Fighter is having none of it.
Cali throws some wild stikes that Fighter manages to avoid easily.

Cali wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Cali trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cali tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Fighter paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cali closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter circles away.
Fighter loads up on a big right hand but Cali slips the punch.

Cali feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We're going to have a standup here because Ali Cali wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Cali tries to clinch but Fighter moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Cali as Fighter shoots in.
No joy there for Cali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cali shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fighter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cali trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cali accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cali is looking to stand up but Fighter won't let him.

Cali gets to his feet - Fighter follows without any prompting.
Cali will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cali shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter tries to sprawl out of it but Cali keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Fighter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ali Cali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter throws a jab when Cali was well out of range.

Cali looks for a takedown but Fighter sprawls well.

Cali moves in looking to clinch but Fighter pushes him off.
Cali shoots in for a takedown but Fighter shows good takedown defense.
Fighter throws the kick towards the body but Cali avoids it.

Fighter tries to sprawl but Cali drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Cali is trying to control. Fighter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Cali is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Fighter reverses the position - he's now on top in Cali's guard.
Fighter looking to sit in guard and control but Cali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fighter keeping moving, preventing Cali from controlling successfully.
Fighter seems keen to control Cali's posture.
Ali Cali overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cali trying to control but Fighter is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Cali is looking to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Fighter or perhaps it was just good defense by Cali which made him look bad.
Cali displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fighter throws out the jab.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cali wants to stand but Fighter is controlling his posture from full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Ali Cali wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Cali shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cali showed some decent athleticism there.
Fighter wants to stand back up but Cali manages to pass into side control.
Justin Fighter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Cali stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Cali tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cali somewhat.
Fighter avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Cali decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fighter's guard.

Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cali is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ali Cali.
Cali fails with a takedown attempt.
Fighter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cali shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ali Cali is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cali throws a strike aimed at the side of Fighter's head but Fighter avoids it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ali Cali showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Cali has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
