Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xydorn Xanthopoulous Xvii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nix's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage. Xanthopoulous Xvii has chosen Grimlock - Bring The Pain as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jimmy Nix has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jimmy Nix seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xanthopoulous Xvii lands a leg kick that knocks Nix off balance momentarily.
A bone on bone clash there as Nix blocks the leg kick.
Xanthopoulous Xvii lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nix throws a body punch but Xanthopoulous Xvii moves out of range.
Xanthopoulous Xvii throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Nix sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nix lands the left hand.

It looks like Xydorn Xanthopoulous Xvii has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nix throws a sloppy body shot
and Xanthopoulous Xvii counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Xanthopoulous Xvii scoring well with a low kick there.
Xanthopoulous Xvii connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Nix closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Xanthopoulous Xvii manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nix won't allow Xanthopoulous Xvii to pass to mount.

Xanthopoulous Xvii has hold of Nix's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nix manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nix is squirming around, avoiding Xanthopoulous Xvii's attempts to control the action.
Nix controls the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nix blocking the ground and pound.

Nix tries to lock up and control but Xanthopoulous Xvii gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Xanthopoulous Xvii goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nix is on top in guard.

Nix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Xanthopoulous Xvii.
Nix misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circle, before Xanthopoulous Xvii throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nix's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Xanthopoulous Xvii lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
