Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Von Prawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Crimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Von Prawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Crimson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Von Prawn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Crimson is trying to defend but Von Prawn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Von Prawn is nestled in close to Crimson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Crimson is controlling Von Prawn's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Crimson is looking to control Von Prawn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crimson avoid being mounted?

Von Prawn is looking for a kimura but Crimson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Von Prawn to get the leverage.

Von Prawn keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Von Prawn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Von Prawn is keen to just control but Crimson is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jason Von Prawn.
Von Prawn walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Crimson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Von Prawn darts in and clinches Crimson up against the cage.
Crimson avoiding damage as Von Prawn throws knees to the body.
Crimson lands with a light punch inside.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crimson is trying to push Von Prawn away but Von Prawn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Crimson tries to circle away but Von Prawn has him pinned against the cage.
Crimson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Von Prawn pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Von Prawn keeps control of Crimson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Von Prawn tries to work over Crimson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Von Prawn pulls Crimson into guard.

Crimson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Von Prawn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crimson has Von Prawn in his guard.
Von Prawn stays in close to Crimson's body and controls the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Crimson has his foot on Von Prawn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Von Prawn works his way back into a safe position though.

Crimson is working an open guard so Von Prawn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Von Prawn slaps away a takedown attempt from Crimson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Von Prawn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Von Prawn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Crimson looks gassed!
Crimson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


It looks like Pete Crimson has been cut.
Von Prawn in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crimson is desperately trying to improve his position but Von Prawn has a good base and remains in mount.
Von Prawn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Von Prawn wants to finish this one by submission but Crimson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Von Prawn.
Crimson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Von Prawn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Crimson prevents Von Prawn from taking his back.
Von Prawn looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.


The cut above Pete Crimson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Pete Crimson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pete Crimson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jason Von Prawn!
