Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mibu Kyoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizer Mcmelon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyoshiro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You're The Best Around. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mibu Kyoshiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rizer Mcmelon!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmelon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kyoshiro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mcmelon shoots in and bounces Kyoshiro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kyoshiro keeping moving, preventing Mcmelon from controlling successfully.
Mcmelon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mcmelon throwing strikes from guard but Kyoshiro blocks nicely.
Mcmelon trying to control but Kyoshiro is working from the bottom.

Kyoshiro avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kyoshiro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kyoshiro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcmelon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kyoshiro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mcmelon for as long as he can get away with.

Kyoshiro sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mcmelon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kyoshiro throwing strikes but Mcmelon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Mcmelon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Mcmelon looking to control but instead Kyoshiro has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mcmelon wants to advance to full mount but Kyoshiro doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kyoshiro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kyoshiro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kyoshiro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcmelon manages to get himself to full guard.

Mcmelon is trying to control the position but Kyoshiro postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mibu Kyoshiro just wasn't active enough.
Kyoshiro catches Mcmelon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kyoshiro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kyoshiro. Mcmelon does a little dance to reset his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kyoshiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcmelon moves away.
Kyoshiro scores with a nice head shot.
Kyoshiro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcmelon was well out of range. Poor timing from Kyoshiro.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mibu Kyoshiro dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Mcmelon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kyoshiro.
Kyoshiro throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nice uppercut lands for Kyoshiro. That snapped Mcmelon's head back.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Kyoshiro! Mcmelon is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

Our winner, Mibu Kyoshiro, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
