Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tek Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Laski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saul Laski acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tek Jansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saul Laski!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen doesn't manage to clinch there - Laski circles away.

Jansen instigates a clinch.
Laski wants a takedown.
Laski is looking to take this one to the mat.
Jansen tries a knee to the head but Laski blocks it.

It looks like Saul Laski has been cut.
Laski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jansen is pressed up against the cage. Laski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jansen down to the mat. Jansen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tek Jansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Laski.
Jansen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Laski swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Laski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jansen did well to prevent Laski getting side control.

Laski seems to be looking for submissions.
Jansen tries to roll over but Laski keeps him under control.
Laski not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Laski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jansen's head.

Jansen is trying to get back to full guard.
Laski is looking to take a break and control but Jansen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jansen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Laski wants to take a breather but Jansen is having none of it.
Laski is looking to stall here but Jansen recovers full guard.

Jansen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Laski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jansen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Laski is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laski is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Laski trying to control but Jansen is working from the bottom.
Jansen trying to keep a closed guard but Laski is proving a slippery customer.

Laski trying to control the position from guard on top but Jansen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Laski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Laski looking to sit in guard and control but Jansen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Laski tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jansen trying to control the position from guard on top but Laski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Laski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Laski throwing shots but Jansen is blocking nicely.
Jansen wants to control but Laski is keeping busy.
Jansen is refusing to be controlled, as Laski sits in half guard.

Laski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jansen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Laski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jansen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Saul Laski has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Laski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jansen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Laski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jansen avoids it really well and circles away.

Jansen lands a big knee to the head and Laski goes down! Jansen pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
