The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marteau takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Thomas Marteau has been cut.
Henry tries for a takedown but Marteau sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Henry cracks Marteau with an open hand slap.
Henry connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Marteau lands with a kick to the temple. Henry shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A combination from Marteau does no damage.

Marteau gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Marteau looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Marteau is trying to maintain the position but Henry is very close to passing his half guard.
Henry winds up and cracks Marteau with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Henry stops Marteau from getting back to his feet.
Marteau is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Henry scores with a couple of nice shots.

Henry looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marteau with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Henry seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henry is nestled in close to Marteau, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Henry lands a big elbow - Marteau is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Henry!
