Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Male (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herb Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alpha Male has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Herb Dean!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Male is looking to clinch.
Male really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dean feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Males jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dean swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dean misses with a wild combination.
Dean feints and then cracks Male's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Male down.
Alpha Male seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Male walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Male looks to land a right hand but Dean moved out of range.
Male throws a lazy head kick
and Dean counters with a nice low kick that buckles Male's knee momentarily.
Dean lands a two punch combo.

Dean takes one on the button.

It looks like Herb Dean has been cut.
Dean turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Male tries a head kick but it misses.

Dean tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Male's elbow.

Male throws a punch but it's blocked by Dean.
Dean swings wildly with an uppercut but Male uses good head movement to avoid it.
Male tries to throw a body punch but Dean avoids it by throwing Male back against the cage.
Male misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dean has Male pressed against the cage, preventing Male from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Male works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Male is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Male can't find room to land a body shot as Dean controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dean creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Male lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dean backwards.
Male is looking to break free of the clinch but Dean has double underhooks.

Male throws a series of punches but Dean moves out of range.

Dean uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Male.
Dean connects with a solid leg kick.
Male throws a jab when Dean was well out of range.
Dean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Male throws out the jab.
Dean's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Male connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dean scrambles back to his feet.
Male throws a hook but Dean avoids it easily.
Dean fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Male.
Male takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Male throws a big shot that misses.
Male throws a looping overhand right but Dean ducks down to avoid it.
Male swings for the body but Dean moves out of range.
Male is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dean swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Male lands with a nice combination. Dean backs away looking to recover.
Dean ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dean fails with a takedown attempt.
Dean throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Male's head.
Male misses with a looping left.
Male throws a shot from downtown. Dean moves away and avoids it.
Male tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dean scores with a nice body kick.
Dean with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Male throws a sloppy head kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A big left from Male misses.
Male lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Male.
A lazy left from Dean finds it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Herb Dean dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Male swinging wildly here.
Male is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Male takes one on the button.
Male has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dean.
Dean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Dean scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Male seems a little lost for a moment, as Dean dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Male tries to escape but Dean is in control.
Male is looking to regain half guard here but Dean keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Herb Dean was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dean, as that shot connected.
Male takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Male just misses with a punch to the body.
Dean's jab looks to have found its range, popping Male under the eye.
Dean lands an overhand right.
Dean avoids a punch combination nicely.
Male throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dean counters with a thumping low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dean keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Dean lands a big head kick that sends Male tumbling to the mat! Dean takes a step backwards and waves Male back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Male is rocked!
Dean steps in with a hook that catches Male right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Dean follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Male looks absolutely devastated.
