Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Soloman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Kaikkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaikkonen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Duran Duran - WIld Boys kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James Soloman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Otto Kaikkonen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Soloman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 26 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Otto Kaikkonen!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soloman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaikkonen pinned against the cage. Kaikkonen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That kick from Kaikkonen tenderised Soloman's leg. Soloman is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kaikkonen throws a leg kick which misses Soloman's front leg but catches the back leg as Soloman tries to avoid it.
Kaikkonen misses with a head kick.
Kaikkonen fakes the leg kick and cracks Soloman in the body.
Soloman avoids a kick to the body.
Some wild striking there from Kaikkonen.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kaikkonen.

Soloman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kaikkonen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Soloman is in Kaikkonen's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soloman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
