PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonsson comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones - Can't be touched. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Slayer walks into a jab.
Jonsson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Slayer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jonsson but Jonsson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A combination from Jonsson does no damage.
Jonsson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jonsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jonsson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jonsson waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Slayer. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Slayer to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Slayer is rocked!
Jonsson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jonsson won't allow Slayer to get back to his feet.
Slayer is still in real trouble! Can Jonsson finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slayer seems keen to control Jonsson's posture.
Slayer seems to have recovered his senses.

Jonsson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jonsson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jonsson moves out of range as Slayer throws a body kick.
Jonsson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Slayer doesn't seem bothered though.
Slayer looks gassed!
Slayer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jonsson lands a lovely overhand right.
Slayer misses with an uppercut. Jonsson saw that one coming.
Jonsson throws an overhand right that has Slayer reeling! Jonsson follows up with a more punches and Slayer is out cold! This one is all over!
