He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cole looks gassed!
Cole moves away from the strike by Tennant.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tennant. Cole does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tennant jabs at Cole's body.
Tennant thows a body shot but no joy.
Tennant lands a body shot.
Tennant is looking to wear down Cole with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tennant connects with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cole gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tennant.
A jab from Tennant misses.
Cole takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
David Tennant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tennant loads up on a big right hand but Cole slips the punch.
Tennant thows a body shot but no joy.
Tennant jabs Cole to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tennant throws out a powerful jab.
Tennant looks to throw the jab but Cole is out of range.
Tennant scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Cole is rocked!
Tennant comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cole is still on wobbly legs! Can Tennant finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tennant drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Cole right on the button. Cole goes down! Tennant follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Tennant gets the win via TKO!
