Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Messinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Saint Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Messinger's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Huckleberry by Ichabod. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saint Randy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Messinger's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Saint Randy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Messinger is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Messinger has escaped and now he's on top!
Messinger is looking to work some ground and pound but Saint Randy has wrist control.

Saint Randy is looking for a triangle but Messinger pushes his legs off easily.

Messinger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Messinger gets to his feet - Saint Randy follows without any prompting.

Messinger lands with a good body shot.
Saint Randy shoots for a double leg takedown but Messinger sprawls well. He's pushed Saint Randy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Messinger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Messinger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saint Randy is just riding it out for now. Messinger eventually gives up the hold.

Messinger unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Saint Randy wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Messinger celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
