Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Claus Clausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liepo Frendi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frendi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by War Is My Destiny. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frendi misses with a low kick.
Frendi lands with a kick to the ribs.
Frendi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Frendi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clausen.

Clausen sizes up Frendi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Clausen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Clausen is breathing heavily.
Frendi lands a big head kick that sends Clausen tumbling to the mat! Frendi takes a step backwards and waves Clausen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Claus Clausen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frendi looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Frendi backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Clausen's temple! It sends Clausen violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Frendi celebrates and the doctors try to help Clausen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Liepo Frendi!
