Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Layton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvio Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Layton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Reich mir die Hand. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Layton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silvio Sierra!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Layton fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Layton.
Layton misses with a wild body shot.
Silvio Sierra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Layton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sierra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sierra connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Layton momentarily.
Sierra throws a series of punches but Layton moves out of range.
Sierra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Layton manages to avoid it.
Layton tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sierra counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sierra slips under a jab from Layton.
Layton shoots for a takedown but Sierra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Layton with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Layton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sloppy strikes from Sierra. Those never looked like landing.
Sierra lands a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sierra scores with a shot to the body.
Layton tries to close the distance and clinch but Sierra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Layton tries to clinch but Sierra is having none of it.
Sierra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Layton.
Sierra misses with a few strikes there.
Layton tries to clinch
and Sierra connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sierra moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silvio Sierra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Layton gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Sierra gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Layton is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
