Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colt Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Laws (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardin comes to the cage accompanied by Superbeast. Colt Hardin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardin tries to clinch there but Laws circles away.

Hardin shoots in for a double leg but Laws sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hardin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Laws decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hardin seems to be looking for submissions.
Laws makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Laws.

Hardin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laws swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hardin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Laws manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hardin has Laws in his guard.
Laws wants to get up but he can't break Hardin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hardin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Laws is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hardin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Laws's back instead.
