Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silas Anaconda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bates closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anaconda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bates doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bates manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anaconda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bates defends well.
