Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kung Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gay Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb has chosen It's Raining Men as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gay Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bomb gets the takedown into side control.
Bomb is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bomb is looking to take a break and control but Chen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chen is trying to improve his position.
Bomb remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bomb creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Chen regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bomb's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bomb in particular looking to stall.

Bomb is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bomb is looking for a kimura but Chen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bomb to get the leverage.
Chen wants to control but Bomb is keeping busy.

Bomb seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bomb might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gay Bomb was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bomb looks to throw the jab but Chen is out of range.

Bomb dives in and grabs Chen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chen pushes down on Bomb's head and hops out.

Chen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chen duly obliges.

Chen is looking to slow Bomb down with leg kicks.
Bomb shoots in looking for a takedown. Chen tries to sprawl out of it but Bomb keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kung Chen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gay Bomb.

Bomb is trying to trip Chen. He has hold of a leg but Chen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bomb persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Chen wants to sweep but no luck.
Chen is controlling Bomb's posture.

Chen pushes Bomb off and scrambles back to his feet.
Chen misses with an uppercut. Bomb saw that one coming.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Bomb decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chen's guard.
Chen pulls Bomb in close to his closed guard and prevents Bomb from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kung Chen dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bomb.
Bomb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bomb somewhat.

Chen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bomb.

Chen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bomb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Gay Bomb.
Bomb takes a swing at Chen's ribcage but misses.

Bomb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chen's waist but Chen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bomb off to one side.

Chen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bomb is defending well for now.

Bomb has Chen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bomb pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chen tumbling to the mat - Bomb dives into Chen's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kung Chen.
I think Chen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
