Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blake Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marley is defended easily by Lowe.
Marley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lowe as he jumps to the side.

and Lowe moves into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Marley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lowe is pressed up against the cage. Marley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lowe down to the mat. Lowe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Marley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marley showed some decent athleticism there.

I really don't envy Lowe right now.

Marley is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lowe defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lowe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lowe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Blake Marley will probably get the nod.

Marley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lowe's waist but Lowe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marley off to one side.

Lowe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lowe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Nicky Lowe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Marley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lowe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Lowe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
