The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bang.
Bang takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bang scores with the left hand. Hewitt knows he should have avoided that one.
Hewitt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some wild striking there from Hewitt.
Bang throws a sloppy head kick and Hewitt moves out of range easily.
Hewitt looks to land a right hand but Bang moved out of range.
Bang throws the left hand but Hewitt avoids the punch easily.

Bang has Hewitt up against the cage in a clinch.
Hewitt digs a right hand into Bang's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bang's gas tank.
Bang looking to throw knees to the head but Hewitt is blocking nicely.

Bang prevents a body shot from Hewitt.
Hewitt gets through Bang's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hewitt.

Bang is breathing heavily.
Hewitt can't find room to land a body shot as Bang controls the action.
Bang misses with a hook to the ribs.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hewitt.

Hewitt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hewitt lands with an uppercut that bounces Bang off the cage and back into range.
Bang is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hewitt.
Bang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hewitt.
Bang avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Hewitt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Murray Hewitt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hewitt fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Murray Hewitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hewitt.
Bang throws a head kick that misses.
Hewitt lands a head kick. Bang smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
