Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Engle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sisnik Shala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Engle comes to the cage accompanied by Sorry you're not a winner-Enter Shikari. Shala has chosen random as his entrance music. Ryan Engle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sisnik Shala!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shala tries for a takedown but Engle circles away easily
and Engle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Engle lands a nice shot to the body.
Engle is looking to land body kicks.
Engle throws a low kick but Shala avoids it.
Engle with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Engle clobbers Shala with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Engle is looking to slow Shala down with leg kicks.

Shala takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shala blocks a leg kick.
Engle lands a nice hook to Shala's body. Shala takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Engle tries to land a front kick but Shala steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Engle connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Shala is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Engle is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Ryan Engle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shala on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Shala shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Engle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shala looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Engle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Engle counters with a straight right hand.
Shala closes the distance looking to clinch

Shala takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Engle bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shala's head.
Engle works the jab nicely.

Engle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Engle throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shala.
Shala takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Engle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Engle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Engle's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shala under the eye.
Engle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Engle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Shala in his tracks.
Shala tries to move into range but Engle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Engle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Shala misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Engle throws a sloppy head kick and Shala moves out of range easily.
Engle thuds his right hand into Shala's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Shala blocks a leg kick.
Engle delivers a nice body kick.
Engle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Engle throws a head kick but Shala moves out of range.
Engle cracks Shala with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Engle punishes Shala's body with a nice straight punch.
Shala takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Engle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Shala fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Shala chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Engle can pounce on him.
Engle lands with an uppercut that bounces Shala off the cage and back into range.
Shala with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Engle to score with a decent uppercut.
Shala tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Engle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

and Engle counters with a stiff right hand.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Engle throws a head kick but Shala moves out of range.
Engle lands a glancing blow to the side of Shala's head.
Shala throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Engle's waist but Engle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shala off to one side.
Engle digs a good body shot into Shala's ribs.
Engle scores with a nice right hand.
Engle throws a sloppy head kick and Shala moves out of range easily.
Shala takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Shala will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shala walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shala shoots in looking for a takedown but Engle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shala's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ryan Engle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sisnik Shala.
Engle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Engle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shala throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Engle counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Engle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Engle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Engle lands with a right hand.
Engle moves into range and connects with a jab.
Engle feints and then cracks Shala's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shala down.

Both fighters circling a little - Engle finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jab, jab by Engle - just one landing.
Engle throws a front kick aimed at Shala's knee but Shala avoids it well.
Shala gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Shala might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Engle has got the better of the exchanges.
Shala shoots in looking for a takedown. Engle tries to sprawl out of it but Shala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Engle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Engle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shala stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Engle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Engle throws a sloppy head kick and Shala moves out of range easily.
Engle scores with a hook to the body. Shala takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Well Engle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
