The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afshar throws a right hand that Everdeen ducks under and follows up with a left that Everdeen also avoids with ease.
Everdeen misses with a hook. Afshar ducked under it nicely.
Everdeen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Everdeen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Everdeen throws out a powerful jab.
Afshar misses with a few strikes there.

Afshar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Afshar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Everdeen to counter with a crisp jab.
Everdeen lands a head shot.
Everdeen lands with a nice body punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Afshar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Afshar throws a jab when Everdeen was well out of range.
Afshar looks to score with a jab to the body but Everdeen is just out of range.
Afshar walks into a straight right hand from Everdeen.
Afshar throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Everdeen to counter with a crisp jab.
Everdeen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Afshar has time to react.

Afshar is rocked!
Afshar looks to land a combination but Everdeen avoids it well.
Afshar is breathing heavily.
Everdeen throws a shot from downtown. Afshar moves away and avoids it.
Afshar tries to bum rush Everdeen with a series of wild strikes but Everdeen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Everdeen throws a series of punches but Afshar moves out of range.
Everdeen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Everdeen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Everdeen lands with a right hand.
Oh Afshar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Afshar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Everdeen.
Afshar seems to have got his legs back now.
Everdeen throws an overhand right that drops Afshar like a sack of potatoes! Everdeen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
