The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz throws an overhand right that lands on Kottila's shoulder, as Kottila tries to avoid the shot.
Munoz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Munoz misses with a lunging right hand
and Kottila counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
No luck for Munoz with that takedown attempt.
Kottila throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Munoz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kottila connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Munoz scrambles back to his feet.
Kottila tries to sprawl but Munoz drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Munoz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kottila with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Munoz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kottila wants to get back to full guard.

Munoz is trying to control the action in half guard but Kottila is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Munoz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munoz is keen to just control but Kottila is a slippery customer.

Munoz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Kottila on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kottila tries to get out of the position.
