Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brittany Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bruce Assman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Vice scores with a four punch combination!
Assman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vice's waist but Vice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assman off to one side.
Assman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vice but Vice pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Vice closes the distance and clinches up with Assman, looking for a takedown. Vice pushes Assman against the cage but Assman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Assman misses with a takedown attempt - Vice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Assman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Assman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Assman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vice can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Assman has hold of Vice's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vice manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Assman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vice turns into him and now he's in Assman's guard.

Assman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vice's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
