Bonjesky comes to the cage accompanied by Lyle Humphreys is a little bitch.. Earl Bird has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chuck Bonjesky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Bird!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bird has his takedown stuffed
and Bonjesky counters with a good, hard body kick but Bird shrugs it off.
Bonjesky getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Bird throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bonjesky was covering up waiting for the punch and Bird finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bird closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bird is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bird is keen to just control but Bonjesky is a slippery customer.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bird is on top in guard.

Bird is fighting to break Bonjesky's control of his arms but Bonjesky is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Chuck Bonjesky has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bonjesky lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bonjesky is pawing at Bird, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Bird's nose. Bird is badly hurt! Bonjesky pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Bird tries desperately to hold on but Bonjesky is relentless in his assault! As Bird receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Bonjesky away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Bonjesky!
Chuck Bonjesky was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
