Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steve Smith!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith dives in and grabs Labasan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Labasan pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Labasan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Labasan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Labasan takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Labasan tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Anthony Labasan has been cut.
Smith tries to clinch there but Labasan circles away.
Smith tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Labasan counters by clinching up.
Smith wants to break the clinch but can't.
Labasan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Smith avoids it.
Labasan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith tries to circle away but Labasan has him pinned against the cage.

Labasan lands with a left to the head.
Smith has had enough of the clinch but Labasan keeps him there for the moment.
Smith is trying to break the clinch but Labasan is controlling him.
Labasan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Smith is trying to break free.
Smith is trying to maintain a safe position but Labasan gets an underhook and turns Smith into the cage.
A knee to the head by Labasan.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Labasan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Smith tries to break free but Labasan pushes him back against the cage.
Smith will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Labasan up against the cage.
Labasan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Smith blocks it with crossed arms.
Labasan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Labasan has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Labasan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Smith breaks from the clinch.
Smith works Labasan's body with a nice hook.
Labasan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Labasan has Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Labasan jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Labasan pushes a forearm under Smith's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Smith is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
