Carthew comes to the cage accompanied by Straight out of Compton. Emerson Kinho has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bobby Carthew's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinho moves in looking to clinch but Carthew pushes him off.
Kinho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kinho connects with the punch.

It looks like Bobby Carthew has been cut.

Carthew closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kinho prevents the takedown attempt.
Carthew is working for takedown but Kinho is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kinho throws a knee to the head but misses.

Carthew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kinho tries to clinch but Carthew is having none of it.

and Carthew counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carthew thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kinho is looking for a sweep. Carthew is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Carthew looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carthew is trying to control. Kinho wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Carthew stops Kinho from getting back to his feet.

Carthew is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kinho defends it well.
Carthew throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Kinho has one foot on Carthew's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kinho gets a clinch.
Carthew tries for a takedown. No joy.

Kinho misses with a punch on the inside.

Kinho drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Carthew gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kinho preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kinho is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Carthew dives into side control.

Kinho is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Kinho looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carthew looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Carthew stands up out of the half guard.
No luck for Carthew with that takedown attempt.
Kinho tries to clinch up.
Carthew circles away from the clinch attempt.

Carthew gets the takedown into side control.
Kinho avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carthew.
Carthew gets to mount! Kinho was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Carthew looking to secure an arm triangle but Kinho defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Emerson Kinho has been cut.
Carthew cracks Kinho with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up Emerson Kinho's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Emerson Kinho's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
