Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keane shoots in but no luck this time.
Keane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mcgarry shoots for a double leg takedown but Keane sprawls well. He's pushed Mcgarry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mcgarry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgarry is defended easily by Keane.

Keane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcgarry sprawls well initially but Keane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Keane stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Nice takedown defense from Keane. No joy for Mcgarry on that attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Keane.

Keane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mcgarry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mcgarry tries to score a body lock takedown but Keane shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Mcgarry has picked Keane up - he's going for a ride! Mcgarry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Keane is looking to improve his position.

Mcgarry is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mcgarry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Keane wants to get back to his feet.
