Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryu 隆 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Benevides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). 隆 comes to the cage accompanied by Street Fighter. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevides shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with 隆 but 隆 pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Benevides fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
隆 displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Benevides.
Ryu 隆 has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Benevides.
隆 tries to clinch but Benevides moves out of range.
隆 tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Benevides paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Benevides fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

With the fighters up against the cage, 隆 throws an elbow but misses.

Benevides drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benevides jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Benevides drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Benevides seems to have locked his on tight now - 隆 screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Benevides, as he picks up the win!
