Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Soon Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry Sanders has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barry Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders misses the body punch

and Do counters with a takedown into side control.

Do tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Do has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sanders defending against the ground and pound.
Sanders avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Do.
Do throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ground and pound from Do seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Do has an Americana. Sanders didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Do is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Do hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Soon Do!
After the fight, Soon Do was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
