Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitry Slova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slova stuffs the takedown.
Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slova's waist but Slova gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side.
Griffin just misses with a punch to the body.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slova but Slova pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slova drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Slova in side control lands a decent elbow.
Griffin stops Slova from passing to mount.

Slova lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Slova seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Slova drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slova jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Slova postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Griffin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Griffin controls Slova momentarily but Slova frees himself.

Griffin is looking for a triangle but Slova pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griffin is breathing heavily.
Slova postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Griffin throws a push kick but Slova slaps the foot to one side.
Griffin tries to clinch up but Slova circles away and keeps his distance.

Griffin moves in looking to clinch but Slova pushes him off.
Griffin throws a leg kick but Slova moved away.
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slova gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Slova is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Slova has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Griffin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Slova thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Slova wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Slova will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Slova might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Griffin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Griffin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Griffin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Griffin lands in his opponent's guard.
Slova escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Griffin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Griffin won't allow Slova to sweep him here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dimitry Slova will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Griffin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slova counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Slova stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Griffin throws up his legs and catches Slova in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Slova tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Griffin! That came out of nowhere!
