Mababa comes to the cage accompanied by Street Fighting Man. Tilthammer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Autumn - Suffer the wild dogs kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mababa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mababa tries to close the distance and clinch but Tilthammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mababa misses with a head kick.
Tilthammer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mababa is defended easily by Tilthammer.
Mababa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Mababa wants to clinch up but Tilthammer keeps it at a distance.
Chaka Mababa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tilthammer throws a jab but it's blocked by Mababa.
Tilthammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Mababa.
A punch lands to the side of Mababa 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That has opened up Felix Tilthammer's cut even more.
Tilthammer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tilthammer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mababa to score with a decent uppercut.

and Mababa counters with a head kick that drops Tilthammer - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mababa wants to stand but Tilthammer has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Mababa stands up and beckons Tilthammer to join him on the feet.

A low kick from Mababa misses
and Tilthammer counters with a huge left! Mababa is in big trouble! He's backing up but Tilthammer isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mababa from any more damage. A dominating finish by Tilthammer!
