Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Rogers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a wild body shot.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Silva fails with the takedown.
Rogers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rogers misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rogers connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Alderson Silva has been cut.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rogers to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers lands a body shot.
Rogers waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Silva. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Silva to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Silva is rocked!
Rogers slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva working for submissions but it's allowed Rogers to get to half guard.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Rogers works his way into full mount!
Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rogers takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva is trying to escape the mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Steve Rogers just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rogers smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rogers drops Silva with a right and a left! Rogers comes rushing in but Silva regains his composure and manages to keep Rogers in guard.
Silva is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogers postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Silva covers up, he's hurt! Rogers keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rogers and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rogers can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Rogers!
