Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pully Macinroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Backscratcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire


Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pully Macinroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Backscratcher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macinroe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Macinroe shoots in looking for a takedown but Backscratcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Macinroe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Backscratcher cracks Macinroe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Backscratcher keeps the fight on the outside.
Macinroe throws a series of punches but Backscratcher moves out of range.
Backscratcher tries to bum rush Macinroe with a series of wild strikes but Macinroe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Macinroe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Backscratcher scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Macinroe tries to clinch up.
Macinroe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Backscratcher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brian Backscratcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Macinroe gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Macinroe slips a jab and a cross from Backscratcher.
Macinroe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Backscratcher moves into the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Macinroe.

Backscratcher is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Macinroe to keep the fight standing.
Backscratcher throws a punch but it's blocked by Macinroe.

Macinroe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Macinroe needs to keep his hands up - Backscratcher had a free shot at his head there.
Macinroe takes one to the side of the head.

Macinroe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Backscratcher to the mat! Backscratcher manages to get full guard.
Macinroe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Macinroe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Backscratcher controls Macinroe momentarily but Macinroe frees himself.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Backscratcher tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Macinroe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Backscratcher sizes up Macinroe with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Macinroe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Macinroe drops his hands momentarily and Backscratcher takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Backscratcher tries to clinch up but Macinroe circles away and keeps his distance.

Backscratcher is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Macinroe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Macinroe is looking to land body kicks.
The crowd cheers as Backscratcher lands an impressive looking overhand right. Macinroe doesn't seem phased though.
Backscratcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Macinroe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Backscratcher's corner calls for a 1-2. Backscratcher obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.


Macinroe is rocked!
Backscratcher circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Macinroe to the canvas! Macinroe doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Backscratcher keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Backscratcher!
