The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Markovic shoots for a double leg takedown but Stainz sprawls well. He's pushed Markovic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stainz rushes Markovic and presses him up against the cage.
Stainz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Markovic walks away with a smile on his face. Stainz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stainz shoots in looking for a takedown but Markovic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stainz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Markovic enables Stainz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Markovic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Stainz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Logan Stainz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
