Wonnut lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Robert Powell has been cut.
Wonnut swinging wildly here.
Powell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Powell there as he acknowledges the shot.
Powell tries for a takedown but Wonnut sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oooooh!!! Wonnut has knocked Powell down with a huge combo! Wonnut steps away and waves a wobbly Powell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wonnut fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wonnut throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wonnut displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Powell.
Wonnut looks to land a combination but Powell avoids it well.
Powell throws a wild hook but Wonnut just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Powell gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Wonnut raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathon Wonnut!
Jonathon Wonnut gave a mention to 160! in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
