Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Takka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarrod Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takka comes to the cage accompanied by Dragonforce - Dawn Over a New World. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt throws an off balance right hand
and Takka counters with an inside leg kick.
Takka scores with a kick to the midsection.
Nice sprawl there from Wyatt as Takka shoots in.

Wyatt ducks under a wild hook from Takka .

Wyatt will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Takka up against the cage.

Wyatt is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Takka is keeping busy.

Wyatt swings wildly with an uppercut but Takka uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wyatt goes for a takedown attempt but Takka pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wyatt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Takka walks forward, straight into a front kick from Wyatt.
Wyatt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Takka . That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wyatt throws a shot from downtown. Takka moves away and avoids it.
Takka cracks Wyatt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Wyatt slaps away a takedown attempt from Takka , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Takka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wyatt's waist but Wyatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takka off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Takka . That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left lands for Wyatt.
Takka stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wyatt.
Wyatt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wyatt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takka tries to avoid it but Wyatt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takka to the ground. Takka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wyatt throws a half hearted mid kick.
A slow jab from Wyatt misses its intended target.
Takka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wyatt at a distance.

A close round but Jarrod Wyatt will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Takka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wyatt stands up over Takka , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wyatt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Takka has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Wyatt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Takka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wyatt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Takka closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wyatt quickly recovers to half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Wyatt takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wyatt tries for a takedown but Takka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wyatt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takka has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wyatt checks a leg kick.
Wyatt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wyatt looks to land a combination but Takka avoids it well.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Takka - that will leave a mark!
Takka throws a wild body kick that Wyatt sees coming a mile off.
Wyatt cracks Takka with an open hand slap.
Takka on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Takka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Takka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Takka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Takka 's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Takka duly obliges.
Wyatt just misses with a punch to the body.
Wyatt misses with a straight left.
Takka is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Takka ducks under a wild hook from Wyatt.

Takka pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wyatt lands with an uppercut that bounces Takka off the cage and back into range.
Takka stuffs the takedown attempt from Wyatt. Wyatt gets slowly back to his feet.
Timo Takka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarrod Wyatt.

and Wyatt counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Takka !
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Takka tries to hold on but Wyatt postures up.
Wyatt cracks Takka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wyatt fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Wyatt pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wyatt lands with some strikes.
Takka is in a horrible position here. Wyatt smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Takka is in all sorts of trouble here.
Takka is working hard here to advance position.
Takka tries to lock up and control but Wyatt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Takka is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wyatt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Wyatt lands a big shot there that rocks Takka but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
