Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Poulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Poulain had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Justin Edwards will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulain avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Poulain ducks under a wild hook from Edwards.
Poulain misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Poulain scores with a jab.
Edwards moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Poulain is breathing heavily.

Edwards has hold of Poulain's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Poulain manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Edwards has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Poulain's face.

Edwards is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Poulain is surviving well by controlling Edwards's body position as best he can.

Poulain tries to control Edwards's body but Edwards pushes him off. Poulain squirms to his side and now Edwards has his back!
Poulain is keeping busy.
Edwards connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Poulain to escape the position.

Edwards is persistently looking for the submission but Poulain is defending it well.
Well, with Edwards on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Poulain is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Poulain is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Poulain tries to escape but Edwards has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Edwards really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Poulain.
Edwards has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Poulain.

Edwards has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Poulain is defending well but eventually Edwards manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Poulain has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
