Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Fraizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Roqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Fraizer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jean Roqua!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roqua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fraizer but Fraizer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Roqua looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Roqua slips a jab and a cross from Fraizer.
Fraizer tries to clinch up but Roqua circles away and keeps his distance.
Fraizer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


It looks like Jean Roqua has been cut.
Fraizer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Roqua in his tracks.

Fraizer has Roqua up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fraizer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Fraizer pulls guard successfully.

Roqua drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fraizer dives on top into guard.

Fraizer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Roqua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fraizer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fraizer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roqua utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fraizer scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fraizer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Fraizer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roqua keeps working.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fraizer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Roqua for as long as he can get away with.

Roqua is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fraizer pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fraizer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fraizer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Roqua!
Roqua tries to reverse the position but Fraizer maintains control.

Fraizer is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Roqua has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Fraizer is working for a guillotine from mount but Roqua frees his head quite easily.
Fraizer wants to control the pace but Roqua is squirming around nicely.
Roqua keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fraizer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roqua on the ground.

Roqua is looking to improve his position but Fraizer isn't that keen on the idea.

The referee warns Roqua that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Roqua is squirming around, avoiding Fraizer's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fraizer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Roqua regains guard.
Fraizer wants to control from the top but Roqua keeps moving.
Fraizer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Roqua can do to turn this around?

Roqua is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fraizer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roqua, up you get!

Fraizer shoots in looking for a takedown. Roqua tries to sprawl out of it but Fraizer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roqua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Roqua with that takedown attempt.

Marc Fraizer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Roqua is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fraizer sees it coming and defends easily.

Roqua is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fraizer defends it well.

Roqua is working for a kimura here but Fraizer manages to reverse the position and he's now in Roqua's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fraizer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fraizer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fraizer wants to control from the top but Roqua keeps moving.
Fraizer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Roqua's head.
Fraizer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Roqua is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fraizer has his hands clasped together but Roqua extends an breaks Fraizer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Roqua.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jean Roqua!
