Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lapu Lapu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Lewis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis wants to clinch.

Lewis clinches with his opponent.
Lewis throws a punch but it's blocked by Lapu.

Lapu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lapu manages to end up in side control.
The strikes coming from Lapu are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Lewis is letting Lapu control him for a moment.
Lewis tries to improve position but can't.

Lapu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lapu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lewis looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lapu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lewis is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lapu lets go of the hold and Lewis can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lapu Lapu!
