Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludo Kopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kopper counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.
Nelson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kopper moves into range and clinches up with Nelson.
Kopper manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Kopper tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Nelson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nelson stops Kopper from standing up.
Nelson won't allow Kopper to sweep him here.
Nelson wants to stand but Kopper is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nelson is fighting to break Kopper's control of his arms but Kopper is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ludo Kopper wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kopper looking to score a takedown here. Nelson is defending well but Kopper drives through and ends up in Nelson's guard.
Kopper is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Nelson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kopper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kopper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kopper gets to his feet - Nelson follows without any prompting.
Kopper lands a big right hand that sends Nelson crashing to the mat! Kopper stays standing though and waves Nelson back to his feet!
Nelson is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kopper sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Nelson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Nelson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ludo Kopper!
