The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frankenberg really is a fat lump.

Frankenberg shoots for a takedown but Johns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Johns is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Frankenberg asserts his dominance and retains side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frankenberg's waist but Frankenberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johns off to one side.

That was a close round but I would say that Rafal Frankenberg will probably get the nod.

Johns shoots for a double leg takedown but Frankenberg sprawls well. He's pushed Johns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Johns stalks Frankenberg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Frankenberg's face. Frankenberg staggers backwards, shaken.

Johns lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Frankenberg can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Johns and Frankenberg drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Johns.
