Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Streight Up Menace. Dennis Gracie could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to ivan navarro's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

navarro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
navarro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie trying to control here.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but navarro has control of the leg.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
navarro trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
navarro tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
navarro is trying to control but can't.
navarro pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.

Gracie drops an elbow to the side of navarro's head.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gracie wants to control but navarro is keeping him busy.

Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but navarro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gracie content to control rather than advance.
Gracie slips a nice elbow through navarro's hands, connecting with navarro's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
navarro throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
navarro is wriggling around trying to escape.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Gracie! navarro is hurt baaadly! Gracie is firing away with more strikes - navarro is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
