The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr throws a one two combo.
It looks like Ruslan Smirnov has been cut.
Barr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barr clobbers Smirnov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Barr stuffs the takedown.
Smirnov avoids the body shot from Barr.
Barr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Smirnov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Smirnov thows a huge punch but Barr dodges it nicely.
Smirnov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Barr could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Smirnov has cracked it and Barr is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Smirnov!
