Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Junior Cruz has been cut.
Cruz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cruz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cruz wants it to stay on the feet.
Spar shoots in looking for a takedown. Cruz tries to sprawl out of it but Spar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cruz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Cruz looks up at the clock. Bad move! Spar lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cruz. Spar pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
