The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A left lands for Jones.
Jones blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Some wild striking there from Silva.
Silva throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Silva.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva throws an off balance right hand
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.

Jones fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Silva is out of range.

Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones scores with a crisp jab that stopped Silva in his tracks.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Silva waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jones tries to land knees in the clinch but Silva avoids the damage to the body.

Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jones creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silva's defenses.
Silva lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Silva throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.

Jones comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Glaube Silva has been cut.

Silva swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A short body shot lands from Jones as the two fighters clinch.
Jones lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jones lands an elbow that stopped Silva in his tracks for a moment.
Silva on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones misses with the combination.
Silva throws a nice head kick!
Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jones throws a wild hook but Silva just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Jones gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Silva raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glaube Silva!
Our winner, Glaube Silva, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
