Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Omar Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horatio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale throws a low kick, looking for Silva's leg but Silva calmly moves out of range.
Silva lands an overhand right.
A leg kick checked by Barksdale.
A clash of legs there as Silva blocks the low kick.
Horatio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barksdale slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Silva lands a jab to the nose.

Silva shoots in and bounces Barksdale off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Silva trying to control but Barksdale is working from the bottom.
Silva wants to stand but Barksdale has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Barksdale gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Silva seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barksdale tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Barksdale pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Barksdale unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Silva wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Barksdale celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
