The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Street misses its intended target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brooke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brooke takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Street tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brooke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brooke ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Street throws a body punch but Brooke moves out of range.
Street tries to bum rush Brooke with a series of wild strikes but Brooke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brooke throws a right and a left that Street avoids nicely.

Street tries to land a front kick but Brooke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brooke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Street manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brooke throws a lazy right hand but Street sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brooke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Street as he avoids it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Donny Brooke will probably get the nod.
