The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince lands a jab.
Prince plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kondo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Prince stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kondo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Prince can pounce on him.
Kondo walks into a left hand.
Prince swings for the body but Kondo moves out of range.
Prince fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Prince connects with a crisp jab.
Prince looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Prince throws a quick inside leg kick.
Prince bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kondo's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prince circles away from the clinch attempt.
Prince misses with a few strikes there.

Kondo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Prince really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Prince tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kondo's elbow.

Prince manages to break the clinch.
Prince fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Prince fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kondo on the side of the head.
Kondo misses the jab.

Kondo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prince swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kondo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kondo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kondo tries to clinch but Prince moves out of range.
Prince jabs Kondo right on the nose. Kondo blinks but takes it well.
Kondo moves in looking to clinch but Prince pushes him off.
Prince scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Prince throws a quick inside leg kick.
Prince throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kondo.

Prince is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Prince fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Prince misses with a wild combination.
Prince lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Kondo tries to clinch but Prince is having none of it.

Kondo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Prince.
Sloppy strikes from Prince. Those never looked like landing.
Kondo misses with a series of wild punches.
Kondo wants to clinch up but Prince keeps it at a distance.
Prince is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kondo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Prince swivels and escapes.
Kondo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Prince counters with a nice leg kick.

Kondo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Prince can't do much from the bottom here.
Prince sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Prince moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kondo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Prince is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kondo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Prince's body to avoid the submission. Prince has instead reached around Kondo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Prince arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
