The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fergerson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Forefinger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fergerson circles away quickly and effectively.
Forefinger shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fergerson eats them both and turns towards Forefinger to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Turd Fergerson has been cut.
Fergerson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Forefinger swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from Fergerson.
Forefinger misses with a wild combination.
Forefinger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fergerson throws a head kick but Forefinger moves out of range.
Forefinger avoids the head kick by Fergerson.
Fergerson tries to clinch up but Forefinger circles away and keeps his distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fergerson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Forefinger paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Fergerson counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Fergerson gets to his feet. Forefinger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Forefinger throws a nice looking combination but Fergerson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Forefinger is breathing heavily.
Fergerson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fergerson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Forefinger will feel that in the morning.

Fergerson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fergerson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Fergerson drops an elbow to the side of Forefinger's head.

Fergerson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Forefinger defend it? Fergerson steps over the head and cranks it - Forefinger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fergerson!
