The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rett gets tackled into the cage by Leek. Leek maintains the clinch.
Rett wants to break the clinch but can't.

Leek tries to throw a body punch but Rett avoids it by throwing Leek back against the cage.

Leek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rett is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Leek to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Rett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leek won't be happy with that.

Leek throws a solid leg kick but Rett takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Leek.

The fighters circling - Rett throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Leek tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rett swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice defenses there by Rett.
Leek lands a leg kick that knocks Rett off balance momentarily.
Leek throws a leg kick which misses Rett's front leg but catches the back leg as Rett tries to avoid it.
Leek turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leek sprawls well. Leek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rett gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jargo Leek will probably get the nod.

Leek fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rett.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Leek just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rett's brow.

Leek makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Leek misses with a hook from the clinch.
Leek struggles to land a body shot inside as Rett controls his hands.

Leek manages to break the clinch.
Leek stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Leek misses with a looping right.

Rett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Leek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rett manages to get himself to full guard.

Rett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
