The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narvaez lands a jab to van Vaart's midsection.
van Vaart keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
van Vaart throws a series of punches but Narvaez avoids them all with ease.
van Vaart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Narvaez circles away quickly and effectively.
Narvaez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Narvaez cracks van Vaart with a right hand to the side of the head.

Rafael van Vaart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

van Vaart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Narvaez.
van Vaart throws a leg kick but Narvaez sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Narvaez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and van Vaart has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Narvaez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Narvaez lands a big head kick that sends van Vaart tumbling to the mat! Narvaez takes a step backwards and waves van Vaart back to his feet - he wants the finish!

van Vaart seems to have got his legs back now.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Narvaez, as that shot connected.
